On August 8, 2026, Knights of Columbus St. Genevieve Council 14772 gathered to install its newly elected officers and appointed directors for the 2026–2027 Columbian Year. The occasion marked both a formal transition in council leadership and a reaffirmation of the promises that unite the Knights: charity, unity, fraternity, and patriotism.

The celebration began with the 5:00 p.m. Mass at St. Genevieve Parish Church. Rooting the evening in prayer placed the council’s new year in its proper context: leadership among the Knights is first and foremost an act of service—to the Church, to families, to brother Knights, and to neighbors in need.

Following Mass, the installation ceremony formally entrusted the officers and directors with their responsibilities. Members wore traditional formal black coats, giving the gathering a dignified and unified character. The council was honored by the presence of Rev. Fr. Lawrence Santos, State Deputy Vladimir Rivera, and Chapter President Polly Camana, who joined brother Knights, families, and friends for the occasion.

“Brotherhood, Serving with Purpose” is more than a theme for the year. It is a call to put faith into action through dependable leadership, shared responsibility, and care for the community.

After the ceremony, the evening continued in a spirit of joyful fellowship with food, dancing, and raffles. These moments of celebration strengthen the relationships behind the council’s charitable work. They give members and their families time to welcome new leaders, honor those who have served, and look ahead together.

The council gathered again for its Photo Op on Sunday, August 16, at the 10:30 a.m. Mass. The resulting portrait records more than a new slate of leaders: it reflects a community of men standing together in faith and ready to carry the council’s mission into another Columbian Year.

Congratulations to the newly installed officers and directors. May their leadership help Council 14772 deepen its service to St. Genevieve Parish, strengthen the bonds of brotherhood, support families, and answer the needs of the wider community. Vivat Jesus!
